Calling All Concordia Tutors: Why We’re Launching Tutor Spaces at Canada’s Largest University

At Tutor Spaces, we’re changing how students access academic support. Our platform empowers anyone, from students to seasoned educators, to build and grow their own tutoring business. And we’re proud to be starting right where my tutoring story began: Concordia University in Montreal.

Let me explain why Tutor Sapces is different than any other tutoring sites. Most tutoring platforms offer generic subjects, e.g. "Math," "Physics," "Chemistry." But Concordia students know that COMP 248 is a very different beast from COMP 352. COMM 210 is not COMM 401. Each course has its own challenges.

Tutor Spaces solves this by letting tutors create listings for specific courses. That means students can find a tutor who aced BIOL 201 last semester, who’s now offering crash courses, mock exam walkthroughs, and tailored study materials. It’s smarter, faster, and more relevant.

Not only that, but Tutor Spaces also democratizes tutoring. If you know the material, you're free to post, with no application process. We monitor for fraud and misrepresentation, but we're not here to gatekeep or set up bureaucracy.
